Can’t-Miss Tips For Retargeting During the Holiday Season

It’s the fourth quarter, which means the holiday season is upon us and it’s a good time to review your remarketing and retargeting campaigns to make sure they’re ready.

Tag Your Site Now – If you’re new to SharpSpring Ads, install your Site Tracking Tag ASAP so you can have several days’ worth of audience ready to go on November 1.  If you can, run some campaigns in October to get an early start with less competition.

Increase Budget – There’s more competition this time of year than at any other time, so take a moment to review your bid settings to make sure they’re optimized.  If any of your campaigns are limited by their budget, you will likely want to increase them. Check your Google Analytics to see the usual amount your traffic increases during Q4 and raise your budgets by that amount.

Add Holiday-Themed Creative – If it’s appropriate, make sure your ads reflect holiday sales and specials.  If you’re not a seasonal business, it’s still a good time to look at a quarterly creative refresh.

Get On The Phone – Use cross-device retargeting to follow people to their devices so after browsing your site on a desktop during the day, they can make the purchase from their couch in the evening while watching “It’s a Wonderful Life.” Learn how it works.
